Rivets are on your Computer by design. You do not have to remove them to work on your Computer. But if you insist. get a drill and a drill bit that is a little bit larger then rivet hole and drill out. or buy a rivet remover. If you drill out rivets metal flakes may attach to your Motherboard are other electrical parts of your Computer and cause a electrical short.
Front panel latches 3 each side,
These 3 will relase other side.
How to repair you Dell 3000 and others
Remove your Dell Dimenion 3000
side cover by pushing down on lever
and pushing backwards on the side cover. If you have to, use a butter knife
inserted under the flap or a screw driver, don't fosce or bend the side panel.
