This Dell Dimension 4500 has no Video
when booting up. No Bios Beeps, No Diagnostic Lights, lite on the Back panel.Motherboard light is lite. HDD spins, CD light works. Front Panel light is green and also looks Amber.
After a few days of fooling around with this dell 4500, I decided to look at the mother board real good using my magnifier. I found that one of the Motherboard chips had a small amount residue on it, I hadn't noticed it before when I examined it. I removed the residue and found that the chip had a small part of it missing. I assumed that it was useless to continue on with this MB, So I disassembled it and now I have some spare parts for others to use.
